the "grinch" episode of how i met your mother is very sweet, i don't know if i like lily very much but i like how they acknowledge that ted was also hurt by her leaving. it's cool to see a sitcom do that! the relationships in this show are so nice. "first time in new york" is a good episode for robin, she's really funny when she gets to be a bit neurotic. i also spotted a bit of a continuity error... rather, a mistake in a running joke, which is that Ted usually refers to weed as "sandwiches" for this kids, but he mentions it as weed in a flashback in season 2! nobody cares about this,
