Oh my godddd why haven't I been reading yaoi my entire life. This is awesome.

This is the first yaoi I officially read. Before I transitioned and figured out I was gay, I didn't really engage with romance/erotic media like this at all, even when I was a lesbian I never even read yuri. It just didn't feel right... So it's nice to not just read a BL, but one I feel I can project onto.

Fukami is eerily like me, it's almost a little scary. He looks almost exactly like me, my hair is just shorter and brown. I like the lame emo nerd x egotistical jerk dynamic, it's soooo fun watching Kaji's ego take a brutal beating at the hands of such a lame twink. He's an absolute ass but I unfortnately see the appeal. He's cutsey...

I'll definitely update this review when I finish reading the manga, but so far I'm enjoying it, it's cliche and porn-y but in a fun way, it feels self aware and I enjoy that about it. Here's some random pages I like!!

16.11.25 update, fukami being aro is not something i expected, but it's cool! i really wanna know where this is headed. Also I. Um. get distracted from the plot quite often reading this.

It's really fun watching kaji become so pathetic as he starts liking fukami, and with the context of fukami being aro-ish it's even funnier

They got me good with the "good boy" i am not immune to "good boy"

I'm posting a lot of panels of that one shower scene because it was cute to see Kaji praising Fukami and letting Fukami take care of him, instead of clinging to the cool dominant persona he seemed to always put up. It's bittersweet to me that he's accepting he wants to be with Fukami while at the same time knowing Fukami probably won't want him like that. I realize writing this next to a panel of Fukami with Kaji's dick in his mouth is hilarious but genuinely what do you want from me.

It is a little sad, I didn't expect to relate to Kaji of all people in this manga. He doesn't seem good at handling rejection in general, let alone rejection of THIS kind.

Kaji asking himself if he's just a sex toy to Fukami makes me SO SAD AAAAAAAAAA it's not Fukami's fault but it's such a messy relationship it's driving me crazy.

The domestic stuff is so CUTEEE but there's a part of me that feels so bad for Kaji and how he clearly loves Fukami. The way he starts asking him for permission for certain things to not make him uncomfortable.... maybe I'm just projecting a past relationship that was eerily like this but this can't end well it really can't and yet it is so cute i'm gonna pass out.

Just as a sidenote, I love Fukami's sister. She is so cute and I love her personality type. It feels... so easy for these mangas to turn misogynistic on the women characters and it's a nice change of pace that she's so sweet and supportive of her brother.

17.11.2025 update: i just binge read the entire thing that was updated up until now and MY GODDDD I LOVE THIS

i really wish this didn't begin in such a sexual porn-y way because it really overshadows how good the rest of it is. the beginning is so sexual but for good reason, the relationship these two characters build is great and i love seeing it develop.

their actual romantic relationship is SO CUTEEEEE it makes me yearnful in such a painful way but i love it i love it they're so cute. i love that they start actually communicating like real people, i love that the sex scenes start feeling more realistic and more human as they get closer to each other, i love that they ACTUALLY ADDRESS PREP AND GAY SEXUAL HEALTH STUFF? that's crazy to see in a BL. fukami explains how he cleans himself before they have sex ... that's crazy but 10/10 for that. also 10/10 for the transfem genderqueer cat lady game dev representation i love her i feel like i've seen a billion trans women like her on twitter.

i can't wait to read more AAAAA
